What makes Naruto Shippuden so Popular at this times?

Everybody is talking about their all time favorite anime. And I can say for now that Naruto Shippuden is the number one anime of all time! I think many anime lovers would agree on me on this one. Why, because for me Naruto with it's natural movement is closely similar to a real human movement and of course the action. Above all this, is the STORY...It relates almost to all aspects of life, especially for me is the politics issue on the series and how it affects the lives of the characters. The most touches me , is the story of Itachi, the hardships that he had been through. And this anime also tells why people have done terrible things in life, so much to tell...For you what makes Naruto attach to you?

Wow, you right, it have complex story after this long await. The politics and conspiracy make it more interesting than before. Great to watch. For me I just curious when naruto will become hokage :)

I agree with you, I think it's the action scenes that are pretty realistic that make it so popular... and also how Naruto has been around for a long time and is still ongoing.
But the way it's not even close to ending can be a bad thing, I kinda lost the excitement to watch it a while ago so now I only read the manga to find out what happens in the end

I'm not really a fan of Naruto because there are animes that are way better than Naruto Shippuden. And btw, Naruto is not the number one anime. Aside from that, not all anime lovers love Naruto. Why? If you really watch it carefully, and if you're watching anime for a long time, you'll realize there are so many fillers in the series and the plot is really not that special. Believe it or not, I've once read in a random anime blog (can't really remember the name) that there is an official thread or something like that for naruto haters. Sorry if I bashed your favorite anime but really, if you want to see an anime that is similar to human movement and has some action, try MEITANTEI CONAN. It has far greater effects/animation than Naruto and you can learn something in it (just a warning..when watching detective conan you should be with an adult)and it actually beated Naruto in BANDAI's official top 10 animes...Naruto is not even in the list. IDK what made naruto so popular but DC is really spending amounts of money just to make every episodes in HD and HQ. If you watch the movies, you'll always notice 3D effects which other animes failed to do except DC. Again, i'm really sorry for bashing naruto but hey, if you really enjoy watching it, then why not love it?

Usually all JUMP anime is popular like bleach. But I mean this show is also hilarious. It has a little bit for everyone...comedy, action,etc. I guess that's why it's so popular. The animation is really good. I like it because of the storyline very interesting.

I could'nt agree more with you. I have watched all the videos starting from the very start when he was still a baby (lol). I mean when the 4rth hokage sealed the nine-tails inside him.
I think Naruto shows how to handle rejection and what to do make the villagers accept him. It's not easy for him to do it and sometimes I got carried away with the sad moment that I have to hold back my tears or else everyone in the house would laugh at me,..:)

Well, I'm not really a fan of Naruto but the popularity of it does remind me of the DBZ craze that happened years ago. It's probably due to all the publicity and exposure it has with all those games, merchandise and other things. I wouldn't say that it is the number one anime of all time but it is the current big thing. Give it a few years and something else will replace it as the big thing.

I liked Naruto till 175 episodes or so. Till then it had everything a hit series should have. Naruto Shippuden is being stretched and being made more of a soap drama. I think they are just trying to make more episodes and thus continue earning. Besides the same emotions are being repeated.
Most of the people I know have become bored of Naruto Shippuden.
