what's u role model as a child?

my role model as a child is my grandmother,but she just pass away two days before my birthday this yeas.in my childhood,i have never seen my grandmother argued anything with anyone even someone did bad things to her or said bad things to her.once i remembered her neighbor's cow ate all the vegetables in her fields,when my grandfather actually my father's stepfather heard it,he was very angry and wanted to kill the cow,by the way,he has a very bad temper.he took a big sword and said bad things to his neighbor on his way,at last my grandmother stoped him,so nothing bad happened.then my grandmother still said soryy to her neighbor about what her husband said and done.about this i can't understand and then i asked my grandmother,her answer was "we have to forgive others,and let down our hatred".in that age i can't understand it,but now i can understand.if i hurt by some else, it always reminds me. that's why i don't like to argue with anybody. what's u opinion?
