Social Networking websites

I agree that parents need to monitor childrens time on the internet. I believe that THIS is a social networking site also. I have "met" many great people on here. My one weakness though is Facebook....I got myself addicted to the silly farm game,lol! But on the upside, it helped me reconnect with a ton of old school friends that I wouldn't be in touch with otherwise. So, like anything, you have to take the bad with the good and use with moderation!

Yes there are several social networking sites, I do know that many young people get addicted to it, but in my opinion that is a lot on the parents for not paying attention and monitering what their kid/teen is doing on the computer. For us adults, myspace,facebook etc is great because it helps us connect with long lost friend, but I do agree that teen members need to be more close watched by their parents, out of concern for what is best for their child.
