I love to do both. Well, who says that we cannot do the same. I usually go camping near the beach. There is a place in our area where there is a waterfall and a beach on the other side. It is just a few hours ride from my place. So when me and my wife are free, then we go there camping and on the sideline, enjoy the beach.

Hi. I've just come back from my vacation at the beach. It was much more exciting comparing to camping. Although it is a bit messy but it doesn't have all those insect and bug that will bite you and make you uncomfortable all along the time of your camping.

I love camping. We have a motorhome, so in Europe, we can camp on or near the beac, so we have the best of both worlds. Camping is so much more flexible than any other kind of holiday, and it doesn't have to be hard work if you plan properly. Whenever I cook at home, I make extra and freeze for our camping trips, and we eat out as well - after all, we're on holiday!

Right now I would love to go somewhere warm.I can't take this cold weather.I miss summer,so I would choose a beach in a tropical environment.

I will choose the camping. I find nothing so interesting in sea, just water, well it is interesting, but for me camping in mountain is something more and more interesting. There are a lot of things to do, you can go for a walk, you can wander to so many places, and it so quietly and the air is so fresh!

Hi mkings I would prefer to go on a beach rather than camping for a short holdiay because it is much more exciting. What do you prefer?

If I only have a short holiday, then I will prefer to go to beach, as I think camping is more tiring, and I need more time to rest. Also, I like to go to beach, it's more relaxing and comfortable. Perhaps if I'm younger, I might choose to go camping.

One time I went on one of New Zealand's Great Walks. I camped on a beach and a maximum of five tents were allowed. In 2008 I went on a short break to Devon in England and I stayed in a tent. It was a rural location within walking distance of the beach. If I was going on a short break in the summer I would go camping at the beach for a few days. It the winter I would have to go to a warm location like a long weekend in Dubai would be really lovely.

Ooh gosh, that's a hard question for me! I love camping, and I go in the summer and spring every chance I get. However I love the beach as well, seeing as we don't have a beach close by. The sun and the calming ocean helps you to just forget life's every day troubles and relax. I suppose if I had to choose, I'd choose the beach. Less work means more time to relax and spend quality time with whomever you chose to take with you. Plus it's cold here right now, and I hate being cold. So I'd go somewhere where there aren't as many bugs, and there's more fun time!
