it's my father's birthday. i knew i have to call him. we are not together. in fact, we are in different countries this time. i would love to greet him in person. i miss my dad. i called him. but he is at work. quite in a hurry, he could barely hear my voice. he is aging for sure another year. somehow, his hearing ability is affected. that's what i can afford to give him for now - a call. but if i were with him, i would give him any accessory. be it something for his car, or for himself. say, a watch. i use to send him anything. one for his birthday and another for christmas. sometimes, due to tight budget, i sent one-time-a-little-big-time gift. time will come, soon enough, we will see each other and i will have collected items i would have given on time. what would you give on your father's birthday?
