My dog won't touch a bone with her paws.

I have a weird question. My dog won't touch her bones with her paws when she is eating them. I give her steak bones and denta bones and she loves them and eats them but she puts her hands to the side and just chews at them without touching them with her paws. Do any of your dogs do this?
