How big is your family?

I have a small family of four. But sometimes I feel this is limited, strait-jacketed definition of a family. If I were to include my close relatives, my dear friends and well wishers this family would be so much more valuable and lively. I feel energised when my loved ones are together at home. Recently there was family re-union of sorts when my sister-in-law and her son visited us and stayed with us for a week. I loved watching the kids share time and space together. Old memories were revived and the entertainment-filled evenings were something to cherish. Most importantly, I made it a point to spend more time with my family members which gave me immense, priceless pleasure. How well-knit is your family?

I have a teenage son, a toddler son and a baby daughter. So there are four of us. My mom lives nearby. My sister lives close to me. In her family she has a husband, two sons and two daughters. I am glad that you enjoyed your family reunion. I must send mu aunt some photos of my children. I am sure she would love to see them.

I come from a family of four as well. I've always wished for a bigger family; more siblings, because I'm the oldest with one younger brother and I've always wanted older siblings. If you look at my relatives, each of my cousins from one side of my family each have at least 2 siblings. I suppose that my family is closer than my relatives because we don't have as many members like my relatives. Both my parents came from bigger families so I suppose they wanted less children so that our family would be closer.

I belong to a family of four. My parents, my older brother and me. At present were a family of five, my parents, me, my sister-inlaw and my nephew. We're not so big family, sometimes I wish I have more siblings aside from my brother. I wish I have an older sister.
