can u know the chipset or mother board model of intel without opening the c.p.u

hi friends i am having a p3 cpu which is assembled with intel board but i dont have drivers to install into it after i formatted it so i want to know its motherboard model and chipset as i want to download drivers from internet i couldnt find the model no on the mother board though i opened it, so please help me out with some suggestion.

Yes you can get your Motherboard model while you turning on your pc . It shows when you turn on your computer, just check yourself now.

normally computers ship with its driver CD, check whether you have them and identify the model from it. There are some system id utilities, by intel and other third parties, I am not sure whether they give exact model or not. Many people just go for formating, I don't do that, if you got any problems try to rectify rather than formating. Peace.
