Who doesn't have an iPod? I don't, and I know very well that I can live my whole life without it. Some people say that they're gonna die if they're iPod gets lost, stolen, or crashed. Are you one of them? Or are you the one who can find other ways to be happy (other than gadgets)?

I have an Ipod nano, one of the oldest model, have it from a xmas raffle. Since this was not bought from my salary (and i will never be buying that)... I just enjoy the moment with it, and really don't care if i lost it or whatever, though I'm taking care of it because of its value. Hehehe..

Right, take care of it still, you don't know when you'll be having an iPod again.

hi mjcookie, well if you are asking me which side i belong thenthe answer is i belong on your side my friend. i also do not have ipod but i am still happy. and of course i can happily live without it. this is not to imply that i can live without these electronic gadgets, of course not im a hypocrite once i say that. the fact is that there is always one way or another to enjoy your life and that life isnt revolving in a single route. good day to you!

Agreed. Material possessions can never make us truly happy--they can provide us leisure and entertainment but it is only usually temporary, they don't give the kind of deep happiness that lasts.

Yea, I can live without my ipod, as I don't play with it everyday anyway. I do have several games on it, and other apps as well. I bought the ipod touch because I will never have an iphone since I am with another provider. I do enjoy my ipod though when I do play with it. I don't carry it with me wherever I go either, but daughter in law takes hers to work everyday, and plays on it during her breakds and lunches. I like my ipod but I can live without it from day to day. It isn't like my cell phone whree I need that all the time. Take care, and happy mylotting.

Hi. Thanks for the response. It's good to hear that from someone who has an iPod herself. :-)

I dont have an ipod so basically I can live without it. I can say that my day would be incomplete without my laptop. Not having those electronic gadgets would not make me a handicapped. I can still find happiness with other things. But still I'm thankful with the high technology inventions that made our lives more enjoyable.

True, they make our lives more fun. I love the internet but I think I also can live without it. I can live without an iPod, but I can't live without music. :)

An iPod is a portable music player produced by Apple company. It's so "in the zone" nowadays.

Yeah I think you're talking about the iPhone. But I think you can also access the net with an iPod Touch, the latest model. I'm not sure 'coz I don't know much about it. :-)

I understand you. iPods are cool, especially the touch-screen ones. Plus they have combined the technologies in that single gadget: the ones that you have mentioned, listen to music, play games, and even watch movies. No doubt a lot of people consider their iPods their best buddies. =D
