Is art heriditary?

my grand father is a good artist, he draws with his pencil, life like images,but i cant even draw a circle better. whats this cause? if its heriditary may be i can draw tooooo

i think its an art..if you really interested to something that you really like you can do it and master it.

Yes i think so. But even there are so many people who are big artists but they didn't have any background like him. I think everybody is artist but one only knows when he get the chance to show it.
