With 2009 coming to an end lets discuss about the movies that has released this year..Which movie do you think is the best of the year?

In bollywood, its 3 IDIOTS. In hollywood i think its difficult to name one particular movie.There are many movies which steal the show.But i really liked few of those which i want to share. Those movies are-Hangover, Transformers 2, The Ugly Truth,Twilight New Moon, 2012 and Avatar.

i think new moon was a disappointment...but the others you mentioned are simply gud..

The best one for me is The Hangover. I really enjoyed that movie. I watched it with my wife and we were laughing nonstop. I even bought the DVD so I can watch it again.

Yeah, if liked Hangover, then you must see The Ugly Truth.Its also as good as Hangover but i liked it a bit more hilarious than Hangover. I watched this film with my friends and we just can't control ourselves from laughing coz there was some girls with us and all those jokes were on girls. So we just control ourself there for that time but after that we re-watched this film in our class on a friend's laptop.

For me there are few movies in my list which are my favourite ones of 2009 but the most i liked was the avatar which has really awesome graphics, and special effects are really great to see.

2012 is good but i don't find Blue anywhere near to being best...there were a lot more better movies...

I have no idea why, but I loved Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. I haven't even watched the first movie yet either. I liked the action and the quippy dialogue, even though some people believed that it left a few plot holes left to be desired. I also liked Star Trek, even though I didn't think I would. That one was surprising as well.

With lots of good movies released this year, it's really hard to point a single one. New Moon for me is definitely not the best. I'm hearing a lot of good comments about 2012, Avatar, and Precious, though I haven't watched any of those. I've seen Hangover, and all I could say is that it's a great comedy. :)

yeah new moon was a total flop...2012 was good with some excellent graphics..and Avatar i have planned to go on the 31st..

@harpreet : yes The hangover is one of the top movies...it was a different movie which makes you laugh from start till finish...

Yup, i agree with you.Hangover was the best movie i've watched in 2009. Also The Ugly Truth too rocks.It was also hilarious like Hangover.

You know what I am not sure! But I have not watched the Hangover. Since a lot of you guys like it it might be worth checking out
