I thought it was a real bad idea.I could see if they were up by 20 but 5! That's disrespectful. to the Jets and the colts players. Anyway I would like to send out a great thank you to the Colts. My Jets Really neded the win.

Hi Sarah, my son said the coach pulled all the starters from that game. He said he was listening to an interview by the coach and he said that an undefeated season wasn't that big a deal and they had nothing to earn by winning this game too. I guess the players weren't all that happy with the decision. I'm sure the jets appreciated the gesture!

From a player and fan perspective it was a bad thing. Many fans feel cheated when the coaching staff pulls starters at the end of the season just keep them fresh for the playoffs. However from a coaching and organization's perspective it was a good decision. While there players didn't need the time off, they do risk injury by leaving them in a game that essentially means nothing to the team in terms of the playoffs.

It was definitely a bad idea. They had a chance to make history. They will most likely not have a chance like that again. They put all their chips in one basket. Now they have to win Superbowl or they will feel even worse.

I think tossing away the undefeated streak and pulling Peyton wasn't the best of ideas. It really demotivated the team and it even made the fans turn on the team and the coach. I understand the reasoning of preparing for the playoffs, but it really doesn't work that often historically. They should of kept playing to win, a big winning streak would of really helped going into the playoffs.
