Interested in writing...

I recently had a self discovery. Realizing that I wanted more out of life and where I was is not where I want to be. I never really liked writing only because I've only done it in essay format for school. My feedback was always positive but it was mainly because I could follow MLA format. I feel that I could be a great writer because I have been through a lot of experiences which has given me a lot to say, but the big question is...who cares? I'd like to find a site that will allow blogging but will actually have an interested audience. Mylot seems like a great start but,in the short time since I've joined, the website seems very large. So does anyone have any other suggestions as to sites that I can use to develop and grow without taking a composition course at a community college?

Hi, Try signing up with helium.com (www.helium.com). I believe anyone can join and I think they pay by how often people view your material for the most part. They don't pay much but it seems to be a good site for writers. I haven't worked on there for a long time now but when I did work with them it was a positive experience. Good luck with your writing.
