If yes, what for? Promoting a blog or website? Or mostly socializing? Or both? Right now I use my account almost completely for promoting my blog.

Yes, I use my twitter account for both. I manually add followers to ensure that my marketing will reach those real people and not for spammers. Twitter give incredible traffic to my site. I make sure that I myself will not do what spammers do. I regularly tweet, reply tweet, and retweet and not just for promotion but also to have friends and loyal followers. :-)

Hi, UpsideDownPineapple. No, I don't have an twitter account. If I would use one it would be for only making money purposes. It is too much of drama that is taking place on Twitter for me.

I have a twitter account and well twitter is for letting your friends now what you are currently doing, kinda like YM but at a whole different thing. I know some may think that twitter is so boring but actually its one way to keep in touch. Your friends will now what you are doing and so will you. You can reply to their tweets and so on.

Right now I use my account for both however, I may change that in the future/get rid of some followers to make a more loyal follower count rather than just in the numbers.

I recently created an account with Twitter and i intend using it for promoting my blogs but do you know what? I don't really know how to use it unlike Facebook. Everything in there seems so strange to me.
