It happened that in my quest of joining some good paying sites, it totally escaped my mind that i didn't read and strictly observed the guidelines for active participation and so, i hurriedly started posting comments, starting up discussions, pasting photos because all i had in my mind, was how to get paid quickly. Of course, i was eventually suspended and my was account deleted. It was then i appreciated the above adage. So, do you believe or advocate of that adage?

i do agree with th adage :Slow ans steady wins the race" , i have personally experienced that if someones do a work in hurray or in greed he always fails in that but if a person do the work slowly and with a peace of mind he never fails in his work , he always get success in his work as well as life and learn the meaning of life and is always able to fight with any complecated situation so i am in complete favour of this adage and hope everyone else too follow this truth.

this is very true in every field other than sports... before doing anything, you must think not once but twice... i have had many bad experiences myself by not following it... so now whenever i do something, i keep my mind calm and patiently do things... this has really helped me...

It just reminds me of the first a couple of months of my first job. I was so in a hurry for every work I was asigned, I rushed here and there just want to get it done as soon as possible, while my boss a very kind Canadian old man said to me 'Slow down Chris, don't be so harry, it won't make things well done.' I think that's the first lesson I've leant during my job. So I totally agree with this adage.

I guess it depends on what kind of race you are in. In your example, that adage might be applicable. But if you're competing at a 100 meter dash, I don't think that being slow and steady will make you win.
