my dream or my family

I am in dilemma now whether continue striving for my dream or not.the genetics I am learning,you know,easy to hunt for a proper job,with enough salary to support my family in particular.so,it is high time to make the last decision,going on or giving up.hovever,i like it so much and have paid so much for it.I do not give myself away for real. but.....what can i do

why cant you do both? i once read about a guy who had a regular job but got up every morning an hour earlier just so he could write. i have a part time job and have done a fair amount of writing as well during that time.

its not so easy as you have said.a fulltime job is almost not to support a family in china,let alone a parttime one.
