What's With The Word "Bux"?

How come almost every ptc or gpt sites that come out it has the word "bux" in it? I know it's a slang for bucks or dollars, but why would someone attach the word bux to their site when there's a rampant scamming from "bux" sites going on? Aren't there any creative ptc owners that can give other names for money?
