Hai, I have celebrated my Happy New Year moment with my family members. I was watching TV Special Programmes. At 12 A.M. all my relatives and friends called us up and wished us. We also called up wished near and dear ones. Then we had cut a cake and ate it along with orange juice. My children burst crackers along with neighbouring children. How and with whom did you celebrate the moment of Happy New Year?

I celebrated this event with my family and relatives. I did watch some programs in the television for countdown. WE have good moments shared and it was very exciting in each one of us. I was able to give my gifts for them and ready to open.. This moment was one of the memorable instance in my life. WE are complete and all relatives are present also.

I am happy you spent the event with family and relatives in a grand celebration. I feel happiness gets it's full strength only when we are with our near and dear ones.

We haven't celebrated yet, because midnight isn't going to come around here for another 6 hours. We are in EST timezone here in Ontario Canada, so it hasn't happened here yet. However there is a party next door at the Army Navy Airforce club, and since my husband is a veteran, we are invited.

Happy New Year to you, Buchi_bulla. It is good to know that you celebrated the moment of Happy New Year with your family members, but I could not because where I work is far away from my hometown. So I was only doing it by myself with my online friends at the very moment. But I still felt good about it though I could not make it home for the celebration. Yet there is no problem for me to go back to my hometown for our biggest and most traditional Spring Festival that I am looking forward to. In another month I will be back home for the lunar new year and I will be enjoying myself a lot by then.

Hi We do not celebrate New Year in a big way. Just we call our near and dear ones and wish them. If time permits we go to the nearby temple. For the distant people we send greeting cards through the emails. In this way we celebrate our New Year in a simple way.

Meeting our near and dear ones in person if possible or meet through phone or emails or even smses will give a feeling of nearness with our people. On the moment of New Year, that is what gives us more happiness.
