Lowering high blood pressure

My husband was diagnosed with high blood presure today. Any tips on ways to lower it and what kind of diet is he going to have to eat? I have no knowledge of dealing with high blood pressure.

yes friend i can help u. I m a health professioalis. tell him for a little exercise daily. and about diet i think ur local doctor told that. if u want to know more plse dont hesitate to as me. i m a pharmacist.

I was able to go to the doctor with him so I didn't get to hear what he said should be done. My husband is really bad about giving me ALL the information. So plz,plz tell me anything you know. and thanks for responding.

hi , for high blood pressure the tips 1- take the medicine regularly 2- after few days when the BP goes down , go for light excercise. 3- contol the diet , avoid oily stuff.

he has to eat not to much fat food, eggs and cakes..sugar is not good

i have read that decreasing sodium intake can help, but i am not sure how true it is. you can ask your husband's physician for more info. usually, doctor's offices have little pamphlets on HBP.
