Have you stayed online(chatting) on the first hour of new year's day?

Hello dear friends,mylotters,mere bhai/s,sister/s,
I wonder who among us stayed online and chatting with internet friends and loved ones abroad,and waited for the coming of new year's countdown.
I am one of those people who stayed online and celebrated the new year with my mom,video chatting and feel her presence on that new year's eve/day.
Seeing her thru cam,lessen the sadness of being apart from each other.
I also greeted one online brother who lives on the other part of the globe,and it was fun to greet "HAPPY NEW YEAR" while he is still waiting for 2 and a half hour before it's "new year" on his part.
How about you dear friends...do you still manage to come online and chatted with loved ones and friends while waiting for the countdown?

nope! i was not able to go online few hours before the new year coz i am not at home...but i am also taking to my mom thru cellphone and so it also gives me a feeling of being near to them...
i go online when we reach home..but not to chat! i just check on yahoo, facebook & mylot!

oh,i could understand about it amiga.
My mom at first doesn't like chatting also,she communicate with us thru mobile(call).
But i explained to her it is much cheaper to use the net than calling us.
Since then,she bought her own laptop and enjoy chatting with us.

Hello amiga,
Well,i thanks so much for this technology.
Internet gives me the access to feel my mom's presence whose miles away from us.
She seldom comes home during this event,she prefers coming home at summer,where she can spend more time with her grandkids.

i could not stay online on the first hour of new year's day.i find that i often stay online for hours everyday.so i decide that i would not stay online and find another way to make me relax.i want to do what i want for the new year's day,for example go climbing and play cards with my friends and go shoping.so i find that it is very funny to pass this new year's day.

Hello bingchen,
I stayed online becoz my mom lives at the different part of this globe.
She seldom spent new year with us,she always comes home during summer to spend more time with her grandkids(school vacation).
That's good way of relaxation and for some change of daily routine too.
It's been long time since i last experienced mountain climbing....and shopping,ohhh,my kids love that always :)

Having client and still working while people around you were having fun and counting in chorus with the countdown...well,i guess it's worth waiting for the new year too.
