Do you think that there are conspiracies that the government is keeping from us? Do you believe that there are secret societies that are making the most important decisions for everyone? If so what do you think is going on that common people are unaware of?

Yes I do Suzieque. I do believe there are government conspiracies as well as secret societies that are pulling the strings. They've been around for generations and at this point in history, we're deep in the muck of it all. Specifically for the U.S., there is the Project for a New American Century. That's been in the works for quite some time and there are current leaders involved. Here's a link with some info regarding that organization: http://oldamericancentury.org/pnac I personally believe there is a very strong push for a New World Order with an organization like the UN at the helm. A one-world currency, control of the media. A push of one ideology (such as democracy or capitalism). What I personally envision for the future of the world is something like a cross between "1984" and "Brave New World". I also think the internet is going to play a huge part in it. At this moment, the internet still has some freedom but I believe that's going to change and become a tool for controlling the masses. In American society, people are already being controlled through economics. Most people are so concerned with paying the bills and putting food on the table that they don't really pay attention to the changes that are happening around them. Or, they're simply too tired or too apathetic to do anything about it. A more recent example can be found in watching the independent documentary "Food,Inc.". http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1286537/ It shows how the entire U.S. food industry is controlled by one corporation. It's a matter of putting all the pieces together. Keeping current on what's happening not only in your own government, but in governments across the globe. As you can see, it's an area of interest for me and I believe in being prepared. A lot of Americans I know have been lulled into complacency and bought into the whole "we're the greatest country in the world" propaganda, refusing to believe that such things are possible. Time will tell. At least I, for one, am ready for it.

Thanks for such a great response. I to believe in everything that you were talking about. My boyfriend has really got me looking into it more and he recently started watch the show "Conspiracy Theory" with Jesse Ventura. Have you seen it? It tells about a lot of really interesting things that are going on. In one show it was talking about how the floride in the drinking water is making women unable to have kids and how poisons are being put into our foods. It was talking about how the government is trying to "cut the masses" so they can control the population better as a whole.

I am so thankful that you saw my post and decided to comment back. It is interesting what someone can find out from another per about a subject. I really do enjoy reading about the information you can provide me with. I have family friends that live in Mexico and I know that the news in the US is censored. They do not want the people living here to know everything, they only allow us to know what they want. They say the news will tell everything but what happens to more then half of the news? but please feel free on telling me any more that you can. I did not know about the new IDs, but that does explain the new look of my updated ID I had to get this year.
