If you would choose between being thin or fat only...If ever you don't have a great body..would you rather be thin, looking ill or be fat that looks like you need a lot of fats to burn? I know it's kinda silly question but I just want to read it from different point of views?

Hi Becdmd, On a personal level I would prefer to be fat ~ Can imagine people gasping behind me as I answer this ~ I have had issues with my weight for the last about 3 years of my life (2006) and so I have been in both of these forms, currently to the thinner side. Now I like being thin, it is nice to be able to see myself in the mirror and smile. But at the same time the work that goes into maintaining that look drives me completely insane and has got me into real problems in the past. When I am on the bigger side, though I look less attractive, I have far more freedom over what I do. I have never got too obese because I won't allow myself that, but I have got into the overweight stage and well I kind of liked it there. I mean being thin means not eating a whole bunch of stuff I normally love and so if I had to live like that constantly it would drive me nuts. That and not being able to defend myself without worrying about osteoporosis and easily broken bones would really annoy me. Whereas if I am fat there is a chance I am also strong and so I would always choose that if I could. Ideally though it would be the middle, sort of where I am now. Where I am healthily thin and able to do what I want without being too thin that I am unable to accomplish what I need to do during the days All the best, Dranz

Well you have a good point there, being overly thin can make us not eat too much because of lack of appetite and being so conscious of the figure not realizing the risks involved. Good thing you're in the middle enjoying your body.

Awesome and many thanks for the BR ~ hugs ~ It is nice being in the middle of the extremes and I hope that is where you are too All the best, Dranz

It depends on the weather. I want to be fat in winter and to be thin in summer. When it's cold the thin people feel uneasier than the fat people. In summer, the latter feel hotter than the former, and if you're overweight, you feel ashamed in small clothes, people may laugh ay you at the beach.

no doubt, thin and i tried many ways but after suceeding again i start gaining weight when I stop doing the measures. I feel sad , as I have to walk hours to keep my weight in control but now is my holidays and walking is almost stopped.

As an overweight person trying to lose weight, I would rather be overweight. Not because its hard to loose weight, but I feel more sorry for those that are so thin that they look ill even though they aren't. I am not even setting myself a weight goal, but I am aiming for a size to see how it looks. I will work from there. My grandmother wants me to be a size 8...I am aiming for a 14. I don't see me looking good at a size 8 if it is even possible.

Hi becdmd! hmmm... To be thin. I always wanted to lose some weight and by being thin I won't be able to worry about shedding some excess fat anymore! hehe! But I don't want to be like soooo thin(like sick), just the right weight for me because I want to be healthy too.

I prefer to be fit, not too thin or too fat. I'm now a little fat in my own view, especially my belly. Maybe the older the fatter? If I have to choose between thin and fat, I would choose thin, fat are related many diseases which is not good.
