hi is it possible to connect/conference between voip call with local number? what software/hardware required for it? it is legal ?

You can call any land line with skype. It costs to call a land line though. You can talk to anyone who has skype through skype for free. It's a great service. I believe you can do a conference call on skype but not a conference video call!

ok but what can i do if i want to dial a number from my dial-up modem and conference with voip

Once you download Skype onto your computer, it will dial the number for you.

Yes... you can call to any landline but it has cost by using skype. Skype is the most common software used in voip. You can call a landline but you need to pay for it.

You can use skype to call local number, but you have to pay for it. There are some phones, that can be connected to your modem and can be used just like a local phone, but through skype, so it will be same as using local phone, but over the Internet.

Yes it is possible that you can connect many calls to a skype for Conferencing. The charges may apply depend on the numbers you connect.
