a friend or a lover?

It's hard to choose but I'll stick with the lover. Because it's a higher form of love than the level of love we give for a friend.

I`ll choose a friend because it is the relation you can trust at anytime of your life. Lover may fail anytime but a true friend won`t.

Dear friend, I could choose a lover who is a freind also. May be a friend cannot be a lover at times. Those I love I would like to be a friend also. May be it all depends how well they can understand me and how well I could get along with them.

It is not the easiest question to answer. If i weren't in a relationship i will definately say a friend. A friend is there to be trusted and have to stand by you, no matter what. But if you are in a relationshaip, your lover has to be your best friend as well. Mutual feelings and respect is what is needed in a relationship like that.

Both, I mean before my girlfriend becomes my girlfriend, she is my best friend. I think the greatest foundation of love if friendship. My answer is both or neither. And the answer will depend on the situation. :-)
