At first I didn't know what is Best Response for, but after I learned about it I usually give BR in all of my discussions (at least in these that have responses at all ). What do you think? is it good to choose just one response out of the whole lot and reward it as a best response? I am a bit confused because there are a lot of large discussions without BRs but there sre some with just 1-2 responses and still they has BR What is your criteria of giving best responses? How do you choose whom to give one?

No I dont give Best Response to all my started discussion but Im trying to read everything so I can mark someone with a best response. So far I guess I already marked six discussions since in the very beginning I also dont know what the best response is for. I based my choice depending on how a reader will comment to my discussion, in a way on how he or she can support his or her idea. It should also be informative and not bias.

You only give BR accourding to the informativeness of the responses? Don't you do it sometimes out of emotion? there are some really good replies, which lack the emotion charge the make them best. At least that is my opinion. i like when the replies don't sound automatic :) So, what I mean is that information is not all I care about when choosing a BR, but that goes just for me Happy myLotting

Before now, i never have best responses to my discussions but am of the opinion that it should be given out of bias and sentiments although sometimes, you could be confused on who to give it to when good comments are passed.

I usually always give Best Responses but I wait about 5 days to a week to give them out. Unless I get a alot of responses in a couple of days then I give it out. The way I decide is usually easy, its the one who wrote the most with the best reply.

It is quite subjective deciding who gave the best reply, but I think it is the best way, because it is OK to be subjective when it is your discussion and you are the one the decide whose reply is best for you

yes i do but not all at once. i let my discussion there for atleast a month or two. or sometimes when i am busy i will just give the best response when i am online again and catching up. its not easy to give best response specially if you gain a lot of good quality responses. i have friends who are really good in discussion that makes it more complicated to choose the best

I am following the same procedure. Just today I went through my discussions and after I put some thoughts in it, I assigned best responses where I could. And then the idea of this discussion occured to me I am curious how others percieve this BR thing as a whole

to provide 'Best Response', usually I see the response given the author, whether the response in accordance with my materials or not
