hello ebuscat, That's good, having a full time job with fixed income, and still doing some freelance job for extra income. At least, your full time job can still give you more time for extra work. It is really hard to just depend on freelance work, when the earning is not sufficient,so,it's better to have one full time job and...a freelance one for spare time. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

Hi jaiho, your idea also crossed my mind and from my experience as a freelancer, I believe it's pretty difficult to earn money online. I think that my online job could only work for me as a extra income. But maybe if i'ma blogger or a web developer then i would earn more. Given a chance I will find an online job which pays every hour, let's say $5 per hour then maybe I could make this freelance job as a career because by then i will be earning more. Honestly I enjoy working online. It is like being free spirited and doing jobs you get paid without the prying eyes of your boss. But the catch is it aint that easy earning from online jobs. I just wish there will be a solution to this kind of problem with earnings. Right now, even if I have a job already in freelancer, i'm still looking for more jobs on Elance and Odesk...still hoping for a more extra income until the time I could say, Freelance job can be my Fulltime job. Nice topic you started here jaiho...happy mylotting.

hello hapsicordable, It is really hard to earn online, earn much enough to compensate our daily living. I even wonder if those people saying that, they are earning great amount of money were true,or just trying to fool some people for their own interests. But,we can earn money from other ways of having freelance job...or part time jobs in our most convenient time depending on how much time we devote to earn our target amount. Regarding with online job,i am also looking forward to any site that will really compensate my time and would offer enough earnings to be my full time job, but, until now i haven't found any earning site that really pays the amount that can support my family needs.I am still happy that mylot is one of those legit sites that we can rely on while enjoying inter-action with friends. Thanks for your response and have a good day always. Happy weekend my friend

I am doing both at the same time. I work as an engineer as full time job and in night i write articles as a freelancer. I am fresher so at starting i am in struggle but in future i will be earning more then may be i will prefer for the full time job or may be some kind of my own business. Well freelancer job is good enough and I try to take out time for it as much as I can to write.

hello david, Working full time or regular job,and freelance job is all about money, for salary and family's income...an individual earning. Some people choose to have regular jobs for security of having fixed salary, while others like to be a freelancer for their most convenient time. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

i would always want to be a freelancer. aside from the time, i'll be my own boss. you wont be following orders from a higher rank who is sometimes younger than you are. not to mention, those colleagues who are annoying inside the office. it turns a good mood into a bad day. while its true you have a monthly income being employed but that will always be fixed. it wont increase anymore (unless of course you work into so many overtimes). unlike a freelance job, you can even earn higher than the highest ranking manager in an employee. but of course it always come with a good attitute when it comes to work. happy mylotthing jaiho2009

hello drake, Well, that's the most annoying part of being a regular employee...irritating people around us...boss giving orders and the worst part is...worried for getting fired anytime. Some freelance job really offers much better earnings compared to those managerial position in a company. Some can even triple the earnings, depending how much time you devote for it,unlike with fixed salary, that you need a lot of working overtime to augment and...to think that overtime still covered with taxes(ugh!!!) Thanks for your response and have a good day always

I am self-employed doing freelance photography work. I also work as an independent contractor. This time of year I do wish I had a "regular" job. Why? Because neither of my jobs take taxes out! So now that it's tax time I'm analyzing everything I've spent money on the past year and seeing what I can write off. It's such a hassle! But the alternative is paying the government money that I don't need to! But yes, this time of year I do envy people that have a regular job that takes taxes out every paycheck.

hello trickiwoo, Photography is such a marvelous career,i mean,it needs a hundred percent of dedication and perseverance. And being a contractor is a great risk(project contractor)the profit is hard to scale of,it's more of gambling(win or loss)am i right my friend? Thanks for your response and have a good day always

I think a full time job is always my choice. It is nice to have a stable full time job that assures you that each payday you have money to withdraw from your ATM account. Freelance job can go on the sides as additional income. That has always been my situation and it is working well for me.

Hello salonga, You are right my friend, having fixed salary and being a regular employee(stable)assures you the monthly earnings for your family's needs. And,if having the opportunity of getting any part time jobs, for augmentation...then,it's worth being a regular employee then. But some people choose to be a freelancer for some reasons that, they might be earning double the salary than of those regular employee, plus, the worry free and pressure of getting fired. Thanks for your response and have a good day always my friend

Full time job is always my option. There is less security in case of freelance jobs compared to full time jobs. Full time jobs atleast give you 30 months notice so that you can searach for a different job in that period. I like to do freelance job as part time since I live alone now and I have a lot of time which I waste just by sleeping and watching TV.

Hello daliaj, Full time job gives various benefits, and fixed salary too, unlike with freelance jobs that, less benefits(financially)and no fixed amount of salary. But,there, are freelance workers that earn much bigger than those of regular employee, triple the salary and enjoying time benefit(no boss,no pressure) But,if you can do both jobs at the same time, then,it's better. Thanks for your response and have a good day always friend

Fulltime job - Fixed time, guaranteed monthly salary (most of it). Freelance job - Variable time, Income based on effort (most of it also). A mixed of both is best for those who can afford doing both. But of course i would prefer freelance if it generates higher possible revenues then fulltime job. Currently i do both because my fulltime job allows me to do the freelance jobs (I work in a cyber centre so i can do online job too) Seriously, i really like freelance job.

Hello andiel, That's good for you my friend, you can do both jobs and earning as much as you can. In this time of crisis, one must know some other resources on how to augment the family income, and online job is one good opportunity for those who had the perseverance to do it. You are so lucky to have both jobs, and i guess, earning good also, while enjoying time without wasting a minute. Great job my friend. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

Both models have their own pros and cons. If you are confident enough , can generate and accomplish lots of things on your own, you can certainly choose freelance. Otherwise you can go for full time job.

hello net, You are right,it depends on how well popular or in-demand a model for choosing freelance work rather than a contractual one,or else,...the model will be a fly by night. And,i think it also depends on how well manage a model is,or how does the model's PM,do the packaging before signing a contract. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

hello bingchen, Yes my friend, the joys of having job as well as our own time is what freelance job could offer. While, regular jobs offers some insurances and benefits too...only the burden and pressure of having a boss and worried of getting fired make the disadvantage of it. I wish you can get the kind of job you wish for,and enjoy life at your choice. Thanks for your response and have a good day always dear

hello jaiho, I really prefer having a full-time job but, it would be fantastic if I got to do both. I have a regular job which is an 8 hour type of work and I have overtime every Mondays and Tuesdays. I am happy with my job and I am satisfied with the benefits and salary that I received. Although working at home is a great idea but it seems a bit hard and the opportunity is not as huge as with my current work. Maybe because I haven't been really focused on doing any freelance/online job. But you know, If given an opportunity I would be grateful to do home-based jobs and it would be so cool if I can earn a lot from it. Happy Lotting!

Hello danity, There is always good and bad side of both jobs, and it depends on the situation or how much money someone is making with full time and freelance job. The benefit(s) for having full time job is one good reason why people choose to be employed regularly. The sick leave, vacation leave, emergency leave being paid by the company and even travel expenses for bigger companies were good enough to compensate all the works being a regular employee. While freelance workers enjoys same benefits and with even bigger income enjoys more time without having worried of getting fired. Thanks for your response and have a good day always dear

Hi Jaiho, I have account in getfreelancers and Odesk both are best freelance job sitesbut i haven't been able to be active over there.I had bid with some jobs but i think, its very difficult to get a start. And also its very tough to work.Am not an online earner and so i prefer Mylot first as here we get paid for doing some thing very interesting to me.But in the case of online jobs i think, its not a easy task to earn. Have a Great Day.

hello abhai, I am also thinking how much money does online jobs can offer to us(legit sites)same with you i also had Odesk acct but haven't been active in there. Mylot is one of my online part time jobs that i am thankful to have earn some extra, thu,it's not really easy to earn with online jobs. I had few part time jobs that suits my lifestyle,(being a mother)i can do my work on my convenient time and still, attend my kids and household chores at the same time. Thanks for your response and have a good day always
