Proof That There Are Some Lovely Young People Out There

Yes, folks, the deep freeze is still with much of the UK. I have read on the News and Star website (local newspaper) about two teenage brothers clearing pathways for the elderly in their area, which, incidentally, is in my home city of Carlisle.
It brings a warm glow to my heart, it really does. I wish I could send you the link but I need to post over 500 posts in order to be allowed to do it, which is fair enough. All I wanted to do is let everyone know that not all teenagers are bad and that story proves it.
What a credit to their parents! They did get financially rewarded for their efforts but they chose to spend the money on grit rather than pocketing the money...and they went back again to make sure the pathways remained clear. Awww!

We all hope that this is contagess and a few more people around the world catch this value or principle and keep it a life time. I would hope many people especially the younger generation learn from this experience from their peers that showed their caring attitude torward others that are in need. Needs should always outweigh the wants for everyone.

You are so right my friend. I always think there are more good people than bad people in this world, it's just that the media usually concentrate on the bad don't they? It was such a change to read something positive in the press.

Just a little good news by Anne Murray this is a good song, but as you say the negative stories are more in demand. Why don't they have a news station that just devote to the good or posative stories. I would love to have a station like this around somewhere. take care and stay posative.
