I have been a fan of wrestling and the WWE in general pretty much my entire life. However, it was a while before I saw a WWF/E Pay Per View. My earliest memory was a friend of my at school had loaned me a tape of Wrestlemania 12. While not the best Wrestlemania, it always holds a place in my heart because its the first Pay Per View I had seen. The Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels Iron Man Match entertained me, the Undertaker and Diesel had a good match, and it was a solid, if just average for the time show. It was a while after that before I actually watched a Pay Per View live after watching most of the big one's on tape and that was Bad Blood 2003. Not exactly a fan of that show to be honest with you. Chris Jericho had a good match with Goldberg and that's pretty much all I remember from that show that I liked. So how about you? What was your first WWE Pay Per View experience?

I remember watching WWF on Pay Per View in the late '80's. I had three male cousins and my aunt would always order it for them to watch so we would all pile in the living room of her apartment and watch it. I remember Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Jimmy Fly Snooka, all of classics. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Those were some great times.

Some of those 1980s Pay Per Views were fun when I watched them on tape years later. Wrestlemania 3 was one that comes to mind for me. I or anyone else will never forget Andre the Giant being slammed by Hulk Hogan. Every year when I do the watch all of the Wrestlemanias leading up to the big show thing, it always sends goosebumps down my body, even though I know its coming. Plus Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and the Macho Man as well. Also, the early Survivor Series from that era were also, especially when they had the elimination matches with all of the tag teams. I might have grown up during the era of the Monday Night wars in the 1990s but those 1980s shows when looking back were some really epic shows. Thank you for your response.

Wrestlemania IV was my first PPV. And I still love that Mania today. Although people never understood why I cheered the One Man Gang, haha.

I had watched my first WWE Pay Per View of Wrestlemania in 2005 when John Cena became the WWE champion and made it his custom belt by putting a spin on it. Since, then, I have liked watching WWE and never miss out on any show. Now, I am eagerly waiting for the Royal Rumble Pay Per View to come as it is one exciting main event where we get to see 30 superstars enter in the ring and battle it out till the last one gets the win and deserves a chance to battle it out at the Grandest Daddy of them all - The Wrestlemania for any title match!!
