These exist. 100x more scratch resistant than regular media. You can use a metal kitchen scrubber and it will still work after. GOOGLE.com

thats awesome if that's true, can you give me the link and i'll check it out, that a robust multimedia storage, how about the device, can it read by a regular cd/dvd/blu ray player?

nothing is impossible in the world. however such type of media is extremely expensive and also we cant write to those type of discs from our regular optical drive. such optical media are used mainly by the military, research organization, government and other high profile clients

This info seems backwards and a bit ironic considering how those discs get written onto. By literly burning pits into them. So scratch proof? I don't think so, more durable... maybe. But that's about it.
