Some ideas for bruised fruit

You should think again before you toss those overripe bananas and soft apples. You can add more vitamins and minerals to your diet by making smoothies, breads, and sauces with them instead. Freeze bananas before use, thaw them out, discard the peel, mix with some yogurt and juice for a good breakfast on the go! For the apples just peel them, slice and mash em, add a lil cinnamon, pile em in a crockpot and cook on low setting for 2 hrs! I used these ideas to also get my son to eat bananas!! He's such a picky eater! lol lol

yes, good ideas. i allways freeze blue berries and cherries in summer, because thay are much cheaper. than during the winter, my kids can eat just like ice cube or popsicle. and they love that.
