Trust? Honesty? Loyalty? What?
**I look for someone will always be there for me to lend an Ear or hope when I need it. A shoulder to cry on in the worst of times, and someone who will Love me for who I am no matter what life may bring our way.

I look for someone who will always be my friend and be there for me through good times and bad times just like you. Someone that will give me their shoulder to cry on when needed and vice versa. Someone who will be honest with me, caring, understanding and trustworthy. I definitely agree with you on that.

That is definately important, and I look for a lot of this when getting close to people online as well. Because Relationships build friendships.

Good friends get harder to come by the older you get. I can remember as a child just walking up to people and asking if they want to be friends. I can't do that any more. I've also had a hard time keeping friends because either they or I have moved. I like a friend who will not talk negatively about me to others. I like them to be talkative, because I'm not. I would definitely want someone who accepts me and loves me in spite of all my faults.

Great comments here from both of you. I feel the same way sometimes that is harder to make a Friend, but I have met many wonderful people online as well who I call friend, and talk to them on the phone even from time to time, and eventually might meet them in person.

Someone that will always be my friend and can be trusted, honest and loyal. They need to make me laugh and be there for me through the worst times. They need to enjoy being around me and in my company and I need to enjoy being around them and their company. I need to feel myself around them and not as if I have something to prove.

Friendship is not something that develops overnight but rather over a longer period of time. I have a large number of people I know, but only a few I really call friends. These are the people I know I can trust and respect plus they are also loyal and honest. A friend is someone who is there through the good times as well as the bad times, and to be a good friend you must also be the same.

I expect unflinching loyalty from my friend and should come to my rescue under worst circumstances. I had a friend like that in life. when i was stranded after a
posting he asked my to stay in his house free of chrage with boarding. he would not agree for any payment.H ewas denounced by many people as drunkard but I knew he was not one as he had confided his secret sorrow to me.I never for a minute cared for the denouncements. He was my friend and so it is till today even though he is no more.
