Once upon a time a doctor was respected by the people., because they are the pople who can save the lives. But nowadays here in this part of the world it became a business. For common cold and cough they will prescrible blood and urine tests. They will prescribe more than three types of Tablets and capsules for the patients. They are getting the commission from these people and they are prescribing the tests and medicines. How are the doctors in your country.

Hi...thanks for the response and the comment. Here in India, the hospitals became a big business than service. This is a truth. Hospitalisation became very expensive and our Government(state and central) are not in a position to invest such huge sum for the Health of the citizen. It is fact that most of the private and Government doctors are exploiting the general public. Here we are not against the country. We are proud of as an Indian. But the truth will remain as truth

Hello Vineet! all doctors are not same and if it happens as you said that they make people die then you never felt ill in your life and did not go to any doctor... if you went then how you are alive still.... Don't make any such comments about your country if you don't respect them for their abilities... I am not a doctor but i know where our doctor stands... and for your knowledge Indian doctors are famous across the world for their abilities and knowledge. Make a research well about it that how many Indian doctors are serving abroad even and how many lives Indian doctors are saving every day but they are also human being not God and everything is not in their hands... Don't take me wrong and just don't insult our own country while you don't know well about them... Proud to be Indian...

I think today the doctors are not as good as before. Most of them pay attention to the profit for themselves rather than the patients'. As you said, sometimes they ask you to have many body checks even if you just have little healthy problems. Or they will prescribe many unnecessary medicines. This is what I dislike. So today if it is not necessary, I don't want to go to see a doctor. I love China

I am from India. I think there are doctors here who try to take money out of your pocket for some extra tests. Previosly doctors used to analyse a patient just by doing a physical checkup. But now a days they completely rely on tests done at pathology labs. And they prescribe you the tests at the first visit only. But inspite of all this i think inspite of all this these are done for our well being only . So i dont mind spending some more bucks for my health.

Hi...angadp Thank you for your response in this topic. I agree with you that many doctors will try to take money out of our pockets in differnet ways. This is because the doctors are becoming business oriented and they are slowly forgetting the service part in the profession. As you said we dont mind spending money on health. But it should be for a valid reason.

Hello, Well I can't speak for every doctor in my county, but I have to say that my family and I have a really good doctor, and trust me it took sometime finding a good doctor for us. If is really a shame how alot of the doctors in my country seem not to care about the health and conditions of the patients and its all about a pay check.

I think the majority of the doctors in my country are friendly caring people who's top priority is to help those in need. I would have to say the remaining portion are selfish human beings whose only concern is to make money. The world is desperately in need of doctors and I feel that if you become a doctor, you should focus on your patient and not the amount of money your making.

The doctor in my country are of two kinds the first serve in the private hospital and own a clinic of their own while the other doctor serves in the government to serve the public. Well, doctor in my country would not prescribe blood and urine test unless it is need by the patient for his own well being and not simply for plain common cold and cough. Those types of test which you mention is only prescribe in cases the finding is more worse than the common cold like the person is suspicious to have pneumonia or tuberculosis to prevent widespread of the infection as much as possible one need to undergo laboratory test. Both private and public doctor do not treat patient as business as they have a code of ethics which they follow and any unscrupulous activities could ruin their reputation and even get unlisted in their tittle as a doctor once they get scandal. Their may be rare cases of getting commission and that does not come directly from their own patient but practice by private physician with the medical representatives the one who sold them medicines and in return they sold it to their patient that the time they could get percentages but it does not mean they could get higher commission as they could easily be caught if they do it as the patient who seek their consultation know also to investigate. Thus, their are many fake doctor who never get pass on the board and they are often work outside looking for victim of their hidden schemes. They often never last once they get caught and their victim reacts on their lies.

Hi....neelianoscet Thank you for your response. I appreciate the law in your country. Here in India also there are two types of doctors. One in Government service and the other in Private service. Most of the doctors who are working in the Private Corporate Hospitals have their own clinics also. Here also there are rules but people are more happy to violate the laws than obeying it. Wish you all the happiness !!!!

i don't liek doctors here in itlay, every day we can read and hear about something wrong with doctors, doctors arrested and doctor in jail. i stayed in a hospital last year, for 5 days, it was like hell, i can be more smart and trusted than them, they gave me wrong advices, with theyr advices i could cure myself, so i went away from the hospital and started to cure myself on my own, now i'm in perfect conditios, i've no health problems and my body it's like new.

Hi....codris Thank you for your response in this topic. I think the quality of the doctors deteriorated globally. One of the main reason for this most of our doctors selecting this profession is to earn money rather than service. The profession of a doctor is service oriented and he should dedicate himself to the society . His service should available to the general public at any time and he should not be a selfish Wish you all the best!!!!!
