What would you do if the glass door in your bf's house is broken?

I was standing at the 3rd floor terrace in my bf's house taking snapshots of the sceneries when the glass door fell down in the floor and broken into pieces. It was a sunny but windy day. I was shocked when I heard a crash at my back. The terrace has no roof that's why the wind easily blew the opened door. I called my bf and told him what happened. I was expecting that he would get angry but he was so soft and told me that there is no problem about it. He will be the one to fix it. I thanked him for being so understanding though it's not my fault. It's the wind's fault!!! lol

It would depend on how long we'd known each other and if we were living together or not. In my peronal situation the house in question is also my own house as we are living together, so there is no problem there. We are both responsible for what happens around our house. If it was just his house and I was visiting, I would feel very bad even if I know it wasn't my fault the door broke. Luckily your boyfriend is very understanding and he realizes this is not your fault. Otherwise, you can insure yourself for these things and I highly recommend everybody does so. In case you break something and it does turn out to be your fault, the insurance covers it.
