Virat kohli is one of the very promising talent India discovered recently.virat KOHLI's approach to the game is very good and it should be appreciated. The beautiful thing about his batting is that he reads the situation of the game well. VIRAT KOHLI knows when to attack and when to defend the bowlers. Virat can play every shot in the book. virat KOHLI has a very impressive average for a new comer to the international level. Virat has an impressive 5 half centuries and a century under his name for less than 20 matches he played. Virat KOHLI knows the importance of getting singles and make the scoreboard moving. Virat KOHLI's partnership with Gambhir in the bilateral series against Srilanka was very important in his life where virat KOHLI made his maiden one day international hundred. That knock becomes even more important because in that game Dhoni and YUVRAJ where absent together for the first time after Dhoni made his debut in the year 2005. Also virat KOHLI joined Gambhir for the third wicket when Sachin tendulkar and Virender Sehwag got out. I think he will become more mature by more matches and I hope he will be able to become a potential match winner for India.

I don't know who he is for India, but I know one thing and it is this, that he will play a long innings for India in term of years. Some are terming him as the future Rahul Dravid. And rightly so. He has got the knack of retaining his wicket and it is very rare to see in youngsters escpcially those who are trying to make themselves a permanent feature of the Indian squad. He has had good innings in recent times when he scored his first ever international century along with Gautam Gambhir. Before that he had 50+ score here and there. Then on this tour he missed out on a well deserving century which was a great contribution to win a match. Against Sri Lanka again Gautam Gambhir and Kohli played important knocks that guided Team India to victory. And the last time it was in the last league match against the hosts Bangladesh wherein he again had a 50+ score. But on all these occassions, he was patient enough not to lose his wicket and the more important thing is that, in all these situations he never came in to bat when India was in a strong position. He had to bail India out along with his batting partner. Secondly, some term him as the future Sachin. Surely he is. I remember when Suresh Raina had scored a 80+ score and was influential in guiding India to victory, he was also termed as a Sachin-in-waiting. But as far as Virat Kohli is concerned, why he might be termed as the future Sachin is that, he paces his innings in such a good time that we don't even realise when he reaches the 50 run mark. He may not be that flyamboyant like Sehwag or Yuvraj, but he takes less time to reach there and that is the fact.
