If you had one day to relax, where would your feet take you? on a white beach sand? up a luscious mountain? WHERE WOULD YOU GO?

I prefer the mountain to relax. While the beach gives you salty air which is not comfortable for me,I prefer the oxygen rich air in the mountains.More than that,a beach seems to be so vast and sometimes gives boredom but a mountain has many surprises with all the varied species seen.

That's a new idea i would definitely like to explore srganesh.. I have not really tried going up the mountains...don't you get scared if you go all alone? Thanks for opening a whole new perspective for me!

For me it would be the beach as to get to a mountain I would have to travel for days. I like beaches and the sound those waves make with such perfect rhythm sound like lullabies and that would be a perfect setting for meditation.

Thanks for your response allknowing. The beach indeed is convenient and accessible. To most people, they usually spot the best beaches where they could stay out under the sun and just enjoy the sites and sounds.... ...and the waves, i totally agree with you...they're examples of what we call white noise.. like the sound of a tv channel going like kkkshhhh....it kind of lulls us to sleep.

My feet would take to to a glorious looking tropical beach. I would see gently waving palm trees and an aquamarine ocean. I would find a place to sit and meditate on the white sand. It would be lovely to see mountains in the distance like at the Cook Islands.

The Pacific Ocean at the chilean central coast. - This beauty is no more than one hour and a half from where I live. The sea, the giant rocks and the sand are awesome.
I like to go to a beach with few people (or none). I would like to listen to the sound of the sea and feel the sun caressing me. I would feel that I´m one with Mother Earth.

come to the himalayas, from long back, many of indians have been meditating in the himlayas, And i have been there once, and love to get back again, it is the only place on Earth where it has been proved that meditating here bore the best results.

Definitely a beach. A calm, serene, isolated island. The sun, the air, the water - all so relaxing.

Leebay_ube ji, If you ask my personal view then the answer would be to enjoy the loneliness at a beautiful mountain full of snow and enjoy the beauty of the nature. Coming nearer to nature is coming nearer to God. Nature is another name for God. Nature is the creation of God. Though some may say that the beaches also provide natural beauty then my answer would be that the beaches are somewhat man made and lonely beaches are few and far between in this world and those beaches not eveyone can afford to go. So, a mountain trip on a holiday especially during the present chilly season when it is snowing in every part of the world, would be my natural choice.
