Google's remarkable stupid marketing strategy for the Nexus One Phone

I have been a T-Mobile customer for many years. (They were called VoiceStream when I started with them.) I have been very happy with them except for my T-Mobile Wing and it's Windows Mobile program. I was planning on getting the I-Phone and switching to AT&T. Then I heard about the Google Nexus One. I was going to get one of those, except Google won't let me ungrade from my T-Mobile Wing to the Nexus One unless I give up my Family Plan and get an individual plan. That is so stupid and apparently I am not the only one who is unhappy. I will give Google one week gets it's act together and dump their stupid rules about the individual plan. If they don't make a change, I will switch my family (with our three phones) to AT&T and get an I-Phone. Is that the goal of Google's marketing strategy to get more business for Apple and AT&T? Because that is exactly what is happening.
