Is real friend and true friend different?

How can we identify real friend and true friend? are they the same? How can we measure friendship? There is a saying that your friend could be your best enemies, thus, why we build friendship.

Friendship can be measured in a lot of ways. A true friend does not make you feel left out or isolated. As the saying goes a friend in need is a friend indeed. If a person needs you and wants your company just because you are you is one of the factors of measuring friendship. There are a lot of ways actually :) but yeah your best friend can be your best enemy too since when you put your trust in that person and be betrayed by that person it can turn the other way around.

Hi kurtjames,Welcome to mylot!For me real and true friend were just the same.A real and true friend can be identified in times of difficulties.When you need him/her they are always there to give their support moral or financial.I have lots of real and true friends.They are like treasures to me,that's why i love them very much.I dont think my true friend could be my best enemy ,because i always respect and trust them .Good Luck!
