As a requirement for the second semester we were required to remake the famous play CATS. Also we were tasked to do a fashion show of Philippine fashion for the year 2000-2009. This is a competition and I would ask you my fellow myLotters for any suggestions about the activities mentioned above. Fashion that bloomed during that time? Where to get costumes of Cats? HEEEELP!!

The easiest thing to do for CATS costumes is probably to make your own. You can purchase body tights and then get someone artistic to paint/draw on the lines or colors of the cat's specific costume. That is what a local community theater group did and they looked GREAT. The toughest part will be finding the ears and wigs. You can usually rent them from professional theater companies, but CATs wigs and ears are expensive. Warning you now! Don't forget the make up though! There are videos online of face charts for CATs and videos of people applying their makeup from start to finish to give yo an idea of what make up supplies you will want to invest in.

Hey thanks for the info. It really helped a lot. We already have some body tights and some fur for the cat costume. It is really expensive. What we are worrying about is the head dress of the cats. It is really expensive but it is also hard to make. No problem with make ups here.

Cats is a wonderful material. I saw your profile and you are from the Philippines. If by any chance you get to know someone in Mapua then you could ask for the number of theater members their. I know our Cats costume are still intact and is well kept I'm sure they would let you borrow it for some time
