I want to set an independent blog,could you give some advice?

I have written blog for two years,I hosted my blog on blogbus,however,it is turned off,so I can't visit my blog,I am sad for a long time,these days,I want to set a blog with my own domain and host,then I will be the master of my blog! I want to use wordpress to set my blog,and I know first I should buy a domain,a host,so please give me some advise if you know this. In addition,I wish my blog will take me a little money one day,,do you know some good way?
