I am wondering what can I do with my hairstyle. Every visit to the barber is always spiky hair, there is no other hair styles that suits me? A bit of background about my hair, my hair is like a jungle even ants will get lost if wondering around. I tried applying gel, wax and the result is the hair turns spiky, as spiky as a porcupine. Any methods to make it not so spiky?

spiky hair? I understand that as you keeping your hair short and neat most of the time, right? Don't want to have spiky hair then try other hairstyles? how about keeping it bald? you know there are people with bald but bright head?? It seems to be a trend... maybe you can try it once? Otherwise, try keeping it longer? with fringes? as long as it is long and neat, it shouldn't be a problem... combing it frequently in the morning and before you sleep, might help to keep it tidy... At least that is what I do to my hair.. It is naturally curvy and frizzy... I prefer it straight... I make it a habit to comb my hair frequently.. now it is less frizzy and more tidier...

there are different kinds of hair quality. some aren't just so lucky or are not happy with what they have. those with curly hair prefers straight or vice versa. if i may suggest, you need to consult a professional hairstylist in this case because what you have done before didn't work. it helps to know what kind of hair strands do you have to find a suitable haircare. if you don't wanna save much money, take the advice above and keep searching in the internet. and remember that products with natural ingredients are the safest. in summer how about if you try very short haircut to do away with the porcupine thingy you've mentioned.

It sounds like your hair is very thick, you might have to get it thinned out to ry other styles, also look up some styles that you like and take them to the barber with you.. Good luck!!!
