I worked before in the government for four years right after finishing college. I resigned because of some personal valid reasons. I got another job less than a month later in a big company where I am into now. I like the environment, the work, and I am satisfied with my salary. The most important thing to consider in a job is your interest and peace of mind of course.

I have just quit my job for half a month though at the time I did not look for a new one or aim at a certain agency. After a good rest of three days, I sent my resume on line and received several calls for job interview. I was recruited by the first company. The boss offered a handsome salary. She made me to name a figure and agreed without hesitation. Done ! The meeting was pleasant. Now I am working here for almost thirty days.

Hi Xiaoman, frankly, I have never met anyone who claims to be over-paid. Some people will stay at a job despite low pay, because he enjoys his job, while some others will stay because if they were to leave the present job, they won't be able to command similar, if not higher pay elsewhere due to reasons like age, qualification, etc. I won't say whether my pay is high or not. All I can say it is sufficient as of current situation - sufficient to provide me and my family with a decent lifestyle. Change job? No, not at this moment. Taking up part-time job like blogging? Why not? That's what I am doing now.
