are you using the msn?

i'm really using the msn. but it's the old version. so it cant help me send or receive files, when files, i always told them to use the skype.
just now, i heard from one friend that the msn had a very new version, very good. but i still havent used it.
how abt u. are you using the msn, the old version, or new? and how do u think of it?

i used to use the desktop edition of msn messenger until some virus got into and system. now even though the virus is no more, i cant download msn messenger. everytime i try to do that, i get an error stating that the page could not be found.
next i tried gilly messenger but ms has updated its msn messenger recently and im unable to use gilly messenger now
nowadays i keep in touch with others though people.live.com
its a web version of msn messenger.
alternative? try meebo.com

I use MSN a lot. But nowadays I use chat programs that allow me to log into multiple things at once, like MSN, Yahoo, AIM. I use Pidgin to accomplish this. I've tried Trillian but I didn't like it because it lags my laptop too much and I don't really use all of its features so it was just a hinderance. Plus Pidgin allows me to use IRC on it too so that's a plus.

from u, i got AIM, pidgin, and IRC. maybe because they are foreigners' chatting tools, so i didnt notice. the pidgin and IRC, i'll have a try soon. i've checked then all online.

skype is better than msn. used to use skype only because it has more options than msn like land line dialing etc....

we have the same idea. when the customers ask me if i have a msn id, i'll tell them my msn id. but after that, i'll ask if they have skype id.

Do you mean msn - the messenger? If so, I will disappoint you because I don't use it. My friends and most of the people I know don't use it. I use skype - I think the options are almost the same. But skype is popular and most of the people use it. Maybe because you can make calls from skype . . . I'm not sure.
But I have friends in Romania (I'm half Romanian) that use only msn. I've had msn account only because of them :) And what I see now is that step by step the romanians start to you skype too.

yes, stand87, it's the msn messenger that i meaned. but some thought i was meaning the msn website.
hmm, i like skype more as u. caue i feel the msn cant help keep the past chatting records, and also cant phone friends. maybe the new one can , dont know, cause i havent used it.
