Anyone lately tell you how 'nice' of a person you are?what was their compliments

I have recently just realized that a new friend of mine just gave me praises on my character as a person and on how she saw me as a person/friend. I was very happy to hear that I am still my old safe and have wondered, what makes them say those things. I hardly notice these things and a few minutes ago I just realized on why do people compliment us and we do not even know it. Do you believe there is that something in me or you that people can say, hey you're good. Tell me where and what you think makes them like you more now that they know you so well and keeps insisting you are a welcomer.
