Being in photos

I hate having my picture taken for one major reason. I LOOK AWFUL IN PHOTOS. No matter how hard I try I can never get a decent looking picture of myself. People tell me I look fine but I don't believe them for even a second. I think the one crucial factor is my smile. All my smiles are fake, as in it's there for the camera. I'm not saying I'm unhappy or anything, I just feel that I can never deliver a natural smile that comes from the heart. Do you guys like being in pictures? If so, how do you cope with it?

you poor little child, is your life going through sad parts? it's okay , you can call me up any time you like. and then we can meet up and have some picture taking practices so you wont look bad in them anymore .

I would say 80% of people do not like how they look in pictures. They call those people "Photographers" LoL. Once an embarrassing photo is out there it's hard for you to care what people think. My friends have a picture of me passed out in their little bathroom with one foot on either side of the toilet. They keep it in a photo album in their living room. Everyone that comes over flips through the book. So I just stopped caring about looking good in pictures after that. I actually never really minded when someone took my picture anyway. But I never TRIED to be in pictures. I am a "Photographer" :o) -Tony

I prefer to hold the camera over being in the picture any day. I don't mind being in pictures, it's just that I hate the way I look in them.
