The SMILE of MONA LISA, one of the reasons of its POPULARITY

Although unfinished, the Mona Lisa of Leonardo the Vinci is one of the worlds famous paintings. It is very much popular because it is a masterpiece of a famous artist Leonardo with his sfumato style. One of the spectacular character of the painting is the smile of the lady in the portrait. If you take a look at the Mona Lisa, you will see that the lady is holding her smile in the portrait. It seems like the lady in the painting is shy or she is happy but hiding it with her smile. Some said that the portrait was amazingly created with an amazing artistic capability.

I have heard that Leonardo painted Mona Lisa's smile for a year. So perhaps her smile is so popular. If an artist will paint for a picture for so long time, be sure it will become to be a masterpiece. I love China
