JOKING by character assasination

Some people wanted to be a joker. They think they are popular if somebody or anybody will going to laugh we the jokes he/she initiated. The problem is, in order for there jokes to be recognized, they are making character assassination just to make some fun. What i mean is that, the joker will criticize some of the characteristics of the individual embarrassingly just to create fun, without thinking if they hurt the feelings of the individual or not. This is not a good joke because you are hurting the feelings of an individual just to entertain others.
A good joker doesn't heart people but rather gives happiness to people.

You are right. A joke is not a joke when used to offend someone or destroy their character. It is the same with pranksters. I guess there is such a thing as too much joking around.
