I have recently started reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's Hunter series. The books with Acheron are particularly good. I haven't touched her newest releases Born of Night, Born of Ice, Born of Fire. These are in "The League" series. The reason I was surprised by Sherrilyn Kenyon is because she was recommended by my mother. I am a 25 year old guy that enjoys Stephen King for the most part. If you don't know her work I highly recommend it. She has her own website with full book list and Character Profiles. It's a very enjoyable site to look at in the least. Have you recently read work by an Author that surprisingly pulled you into their world?

Hey, I've not really found any one surprising, but yes there was this book called "I love you, till i find someone else" and yes the author was pretty surprising. It was based in an Indian engineering college around a guy and girls and the youth stuff.

I absolutely love the Dark Hunter series. I started reading them about two years ago and fell in love instantly, and now I have collected almost all of Kenyon's books. It's even better to know that she's from my hometown, which is an amazing achievement for someone from there. (By the way, we just passed the "Year of Acheron".) Another author that I've been surprised by is Richelle Mead. The first series of hers I read was the Georgina Kincaid series, but for Christmas my father-in-law bought me the first book of her Vampire Academy series, and I fell in love with it. I had to get the rest as soon as I could so I could continue with the story. It's a little more young adult than I usually read, but it was interesting enough. One more series I can recommend, especially since you love Kenyon, is the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward. I can't even really describe how much I love those books.
