When is Assassin's Creed 2 PC version release date?

I am a hardcore PC gamer. I loved the first installment of Assassin's Creed. It's starting phase story movement was very slow and i got a little bored, but when things turned hot at the middle part of the game it was a joy ride. Its one of the games that i cherish playing.
Now its sequel Assassins Creed 2 is out, but only for PS3 and Xbox 360. We PC gamers are always at the poor end because of piracy. :(
All the reviews states that AC2 is bigger and better than AC..and its one of the few sequels ever that improved on the original by leaps and bounds.
PC version was promised by Ubisoft, the developers of the game..But i didnt get any indication of date..
If any of you guys know when this superb game hits PC please tell me...im keeping my Controller charged.. :) Also tell me your experience of AC2 if you have played it in Console..

So true about PC users losing out on opportunities due to piracy.. Recently there have been no big titles for the PC last one would be MW2.. I really dont recall playing a lot in 2009 on the PC. DX10 well nothing except crysis i guess. Consoles on the other hand getting good titles. Uncharted 2: Among thieves, inFamous , etc to come to PS3. Waiting for GOW, Heavy rain.

I did play those games as well. Batman was good but had some shadow issues they were not properly rendered could ATI driver issue.

Assassins Creed is out on the PC on 26th February. I have heard very good things about it and it's already out on Playstation 3 and XBox 360. The Graphics on the first Assassins Creed were amazing so the Graphics are truly amazing on the second one.

Another game with similarly awesome graphics is Far Cry, I bought it for my Dad for Christmas and he was astonished by the quality and realism of the graphics. He kept commenting on the Graphics.

it is releasing in north america on 16 march 2010 and the europe version is just marked 2010 (think its not decided) hop it helped you
