It's our Fiesta

We celebrated our fiesta yesterday. Our patron saint is Sto. Nino. We didn't have much visitors as the rain poured too much. Many of my expected were not able to come to our house because the heavy rains stopped them from coming. But still, I got some visitors and most of them were very close friends and relatives. The fiesta is one of our happy and enjoyable yearly celebrations. Happy fiesta to us. ..

happy fiesta! this is one of the much awaited day in the rural and provincial philippines. i am not sure if urban manila has the same intense celebration, except the nazareno in quiapo. people troop to their hometowns to be with their families and friends. this is also an opportunity for reunions. food, fun, drinks, religious rituals, and many more often dominate the scenes of fiestas. i hope you had fun and all other stuff during your fiesta.

Your right mensab feast of the nazarene is the only one that keeps attracting people but not Fiestas. Even going to quiapo is not for the faint hearted and not for the kids especially. I still like the fiestas in the province where you just have a good time, every time.

The fiesta is a good way to see your townmates, barriomates and relatives. It's like a reunion. There are many programs too come fiesta. The funfare is much that popular celebrities are invited too.

I envy you guys! i use to be excited when i still live in the province. there's just no way Metro Manila can compared as far as fiesta celebrations are concerned. Fiestas are something to look forward in the province. I recall getting excited when our fiesta is fast approaching. It's usually during Fiesta that we go home for a vacation since it's more worthwhile.

Happy fiesta! Still you enjoyed celebrating your fiesta. Today we will be celebrating Feast of Sto. Nino by having a presentation contest in our church. Everyone is excited to participate. Our parish priest decided to have have three groups so that everybody could win. Only that there will be first second and third prize. We will be having our traditional procession before the mass. I hope it won't rain. VIVA SENOR STO. NINO!!!
