Yes,I do agree one should be a good listener and need to give 100% constraint to the talker.We should understand as well as try to gain knowledge from him.Good listener always listen carefully,understand and they will command.Good listener knows the limit of speaking and never irritate other people.

no talk keep silent some people just want to talk to somebody they even do not wanna any respond so zip the lip and just listen

To be a good listener one should have lots of patience..Give the speaker 100% of your attention..Do not interrupt with what you think about the thing that's discussing..if you make interruption then the person can be irritate. Show total interest from your side by your expressions..just respect and be patient..

To be a good listener one should learn when to stop talking and sincerely listen. Then respond when response is needed. Listen with comprehension, understand what the other person is saying. Read between the lines. By then you'll be a good listener yourself!...

yes it is necessary to be listen the the thoughts of great speakers carefully...because it helps us to develop our knowledge in listening..if you concentrate more on listening ,you will get the lots of information..than reading.. reading takes too time to understand but listening is better than reading .. for example, if you want to know the whole story of some great personalities.you can get the more information by listening the speeches of great speakers or teachers in less than 1 hour, but if read the book of some great personalities of the world it takes a long time to get the whole information about him or her.....

First of one have to work hard to be a good listener.
